The Challenge
A family buying the duplex they had rented for years wanted to join the two floors into one home without losing the original woodwork.
Our Approach
Every piece of trim and every door was numbered, removed, restored off-site and reinstalled after the new stair was framed.
The Result
A single-family home with a new interior stair, rebuilt mechanical systems and the original 1930s woodwork intact.
